Weare currently seeking a Senior Social Worker to join ourteam.
As part of amultidisciplinary team, this role plans, delivers, coordinates, andevaluates social work services for consumers in the Mental Healthspecialty, using advanced clinical skills grounded inrecovery‐oriented and trauma‐informed practice. The successfulapplicant will be responsible for maintaining consumer safety andensuring the quality of care through ongoing planning,implementation, and evaluation. The Senior Social Worker alsoprovides supervision to Social Work staff and supports staff withinthe unit or clinical area, coordinating their duties and managingperformance. As a Senior Social Worker, the practitioner ensuresthat all work aligns with the Australian Association of SocialWorkers Practice Standards, the Code of Ethics, and SMHS policiesand guidelines.
