Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Document Controller to join our team in Perth. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person who excels in managing and maintaining documentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain document control systems and processes for engineering teams.
* Ensure all documents are correctly filed and easily accessible.
* Review and update documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure document consistency.
* Track document versions and maintain a document control register.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for reviews and audits.
* Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures.
Requirements
3-5 years' previous experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role, ideally supporting an engineering team.
Previous file management/document control experience is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Demonstrated typing skills at around 60 wpm.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships across teams.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
A proactive approach and the ability to anticipate needs and prioritise tasks effectively.
