Specialised Welding Products (SWP), a division of The Lincoln Electric Company (Australia) Pty Ltd, requires experienced Boilermakers to join our team to work in the region's Sugar Mills (Mackay and Sarina) for the 2026 Sugar Crushing Season.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A tests, have their own reliable transport as well as their own basic tools. A Safety First attitude is essential. Good rates with regular overtime will be available to successful candidates.
Duties required:
* Boilermaking tasks as instructed by Onsite Supervisors.
* Operate Portable Automated Flux Cored Arc Welding Systems.
Skills required:
* Fabrication, Welding, Cutting & Gouging.
* Full understanding of Flux Cored Arc Welding Process & the ability to troubleshoot wire feeding systems.
* Ability to learn to use an automated welding controller.
* Intermediate Welding & Safety competencies.
* Good housekeeping.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* A can-do attitude and ability to work autonomously.

* $52/hr. + penalties based on experience.

* Air fed respirator welding and cutting helmet supplied.
* A completion bonus will also apply for candidates completing the 2026 Sugar Crushing Season.
