**The Opportunity**
An opportunity has become available for a **Head of Procurement** at VENTORA Group as a member of the extended Leadership Team. The purpose of the role will be to develop and implement strategic procurement plans within the relevant divisions to drive cost-effective procurement practices and achieve annual cost reduction to the total spend for the region.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with divisions to ensure continuous integration of procurement strategies
- Lead and drive the National Procurement Team
- Implement strategic multi-year category plans in consultation with the business
- Recognizing, reviewing, and qualifying risks associated with procurement activities
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the region
- Control management and implementation of new supply programs
- Oversee the negotiations of contracts and ensure best practice
- Further, develop relationships with our suppliers and internal team members
- Guide and review vendor spending in collaboration with senior leaders
- Report monthly on the Group's Material Economics Report
- Drive high performance and achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets
**About You**
- 10+ years of procurement, supply chain or purchasing experience
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply, Procurement or Purchasing
- Strategic mindset and experience with developing strategic plans
- Effective leader, decision maker and proven performer with multi-site, multi-functional responsibilities in a multi-national organisation
- Experience in high-value procurement, tendering and contracts management
- Manage and build cohesive remote high performing teams
- Demonstrates the ability to execute plans and deliver outcomes
- Influencer with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in collaboration with others
