The Company
Our client is an Australian owned company who manufactures, sells, hires and maintains mobile accommodation camps, supplying to the mining, emergency services, oil & gas and energy industries, Australia wide. They are a well-established player in the design and construction of mobile camps offering vital services to clients who operate in some of the most remote and demanding industries where they configure camps to their specifications and requirements providing accommodation units, commercial kitchens, recreational units, offices and laundries.
The Role
Due to continued growth they are seeking a suitably qualified Boilermaker with CAD experience, reporting directly to the Managing Director, to join their operations. You will be part of a small, focused team that values the input of their key trades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabrication, assembly, and welding of structural steel components
* Interpretation and execution of detailed engineering and workshop drawings
* Preparation, review, and modification of CAD drawings (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
* Collaboration with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure design accuracy
* Compliance with company quality, safety, production and Australian design standards
* Maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process to ensure the final product meets or exceeds expectations
* Maintain accurate inventory records, keeping track of raw materials, tools, and other workshop supplies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
Qualifications and Experience:
* Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, with proven experience in aluminium welding
* Demonstrated experience using CAD software in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
* Strong ability to read and produce technical drawings
* High attention to detail with sound problem-solving capability
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
* Full Australian working rights

Remuneration
This is a Permanent role where the successful candidate will be employed on a Full-Time basis. Depending on your past work experience and qualifications remuneration will be;
* Annually Salary: $90K to $110K + Super
* Approx 40 – 50 hours per week
