Associate Director, Evaluation and Policy (Investment Delivery Authority)

* Ongoing full-time, Clerk Grade 11/12 opportunity base salary ($149,739 - $173,174) in Sydney (Martin Place)

About the Role
This role is part of Investment NSW Group within the Investment Delivery Authority team. The Investment Delivery Authority (IDA) has been established to facilitate major projects ($1bn plus) from the private sector and identify reforms to boost competition and productivity in NSW.

As Associate Director, Evaluation and Policy within the Investment Delivery Authority (IDA), you will lead a team responsible for evaluating and assessing submissions through the IDA Expression of Interest (EOI) process. You will prepare strategic, evidence-based advice and coordinate briefings across government agencies to support consideration of submissions. You will also identify and advise Government on policy changes and system-wide reforms to promote competition and productivity in NSW.

We're Looking For

* Evaluation and analysis: strong analytical capability to assess complex submissions/issues and produce evidence-based briefs, reports and recommendations.
* Project delivery: lead delivery across multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Stakeholder management and influence: demonstrated ability to build trust, manage relationships and influence outcomes across government, industry and community.
* Policy and evaluation expertise: demonstrated experience designing evaluation approaches and translating evidence into practical policy advice and system-wide reform options.
* Leadership: proven ability in supervising and providing direction to team members, including supporting staff development and promoting a positive team culture.
