Pricing Analyst

About the role

We seek a Pricing Analyst to use data‐driven insights to support and develop pricing recommendations across service lines and translate fee structures into financial performance. The role will ensure accurate WIP valuations and supporting analysis that is aligned to revenue recognition with AASB 15.

What you'll do?

* Build, test and maintain pricing models across personal injury service lines, including benchmarking and margin analysis.
* Apply statistical methods (regression, Monte Carlo) to forecast outcomes and inform pricing and WIP valuations.
* Translate pricing into compliant fee structures aligned with Australian regulations.
* Develop and support WIP valuation models and align with AASB 15 revenue recognition.
* Support the business with WIP policies, tracking, and audit‐ready processes.
* Produce analysis reconciling pricing, WIP, and revenue movements.
* Create and support dashboards tracking performance metrics (win rates, realisation, WIP ageing etc).
* Automate reporting for Finance Leadership, General Managers and other senior management.
* Present insights to non‐technical stakeholders and support pricing governance.

What will you bring?

* Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Finance, Accounting or similar (actuarial progress desirable).
* 5+ years' experience in pricing, commercial analytics, or data analysis with strong ability to translate analysis into commercial actions.
* Understanding of AASB 15 and WIP flow to revenue and cash.
* Experience with professional services WIP metrics (law firm exposure desirable).
* Knowledge of regression/GLM, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
* Advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills.
* Awareness of Australian pricing regulations and personal injury fee models.
* Python or R skills for modelling/automation (desirable).
