About the Role
Nature of Position: Permanent, Full-Time Reporting Line: SAED Project Manager Location: Melbourne (prefferably), open to other locations Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of environmental planning briefs and advice
2. Providing guidance and support to complex site issues
3. Providing guidance, support, and mentoring to other town planners
4. Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the health and safety issues and risks associated with the mobile telecommunications industry and be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders and the community in this regard
5. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of all base station components and their specific applications and uses
6. Understand the processes relating to other project segments including tenure agreements, site design and site construction
7. Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of all relevant Commonwealth, State and Territory Legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice and procedures
8. Maximise revenue whilst maintaining cost and complying with contractual, physical, procedural and legal constraints
9. Ensure project milestones are reached within time and budget restraints and follow necessary procedures to articulate any issues affecting the achievement of project objectives
10. Preparation of Development Applications and Deployment Code Documentation
11. Consult and engage with the Community Relations Manager with reference to community engagement
12. Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints in collaboration with external stakeholders and community relations managers
About You
13. Government agency, local government or consulting environment experience
14. Advanced knowledge of general Microsoft Applications
15. Ability to communicate across a broad spectrum of stakeholders
16. Strong analysis skills and the ability to provide clear conclusions and recommendations on complex issues
17. Strong work ethic and a disciplined approach
18. An interest in communications and information technology
