Position Title: Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant

Classification: IN29

Salary per hour (exc. super): $31.59 + weekend penalties

Hours per fortnight: 16

Employment Status: Ongoing Part Time

Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant to work weekend shifts supporting patient care across inpatient units. This multidisciplinary role involves working primarily with Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams. The position includes 4 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday mornings and applicants with previous hospital experience are strongly encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to provide best practice, client centred clinical care to patients within the designated inpatient caseload, support improved allied health service delivery and patient flow on weekends, and perform delegated tasks as directed by allied health clinicians within the multidisciplinary team. The role may also involve working on weekends and public holidays as required and contributing to the ongoing development of the allied health service and the broader allied health department.
