First licensed in 1851, the historically listed hotel has a long and rich history of being a family hotel, holding onto the traditional values of what a pub should be.
Who we are looking for…
Kitchen Cooks: Someone who has experience in a busy pub kitchen, understands the pace and pride that comes with it, and wants to grow their skills. Reporting directly to our Head Chef, the ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn. We also welcome those interested in starting or continuing a Cooking Apprenticeship .
Bottle Shop Attendants: Someone who enjoys customer service, has a keen eye for detail, and understands the importance of presentation and responsible service. Experience in liquor retail or hospitality is essential.
Duties, responsibilities & traits include, but are not limited to…
* Preparation and service of meals across various sections.
* General cleaning, prep, and dishwashing duties.
* Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit kitchen team.
* Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Customer service, cash handling, and point-of-sale operation.
* Stock rotation, display setup, and general cleaning.
* Compliance with RSA and venue policies.
* Being approachable, reliable, and customer-focused.
Your work week would be something like…
Flexible roster across 7 days.
Minimum 20–25 hours per week, with potential to grow for the right candidates.
