The Medicare Mental Health Centres provide a safe and welcoming place for anyone to access free, immediate, short, and medium-term quality mental health care.You will join a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified mental health professionals including Lived Experience Workers.Role Overview:The Senior Clinician role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. This role includes the provision of comprehensive, evidence-based clinical care management, psychological and psychosocial interventions to individuals in the community with mental health illness. The Senior Clinician ensures compliance with relevant quality and safety standards, implementation of best practice, supports flow of referrals into the service, and works closely with the multidisciplinary team. This position works closely with the Team Leader (Centre Manager) to guide clinical and support staff to adhere to the model of care and evidence-based practice.Qualifications:Approved tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent, and provisional or full membership with AHPRA or an appropriate professional body.Experience:Previous experience in providing primary mental health intervention, conducting assessments, and providing evidence-based treatment and case management.Three (3) years or more clinical experience in the mental health field.Lead and participate in regular meetings to support staff in delivering services to clients by mentoring and providing consultation and feedback.Excellent knowledge of and sensitivity to the mental health needs of individuals.Experience contributing to clinical review processes and planning consumers within a recovery framework.Australian Drivers License.To Apply: Click the Apply button and attach your Resume and Cover Letter addressing the Essential criteria.Benefits & Culture:As an organisation, we celebrate our diversity and welcome all people regardless of ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
