Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions across all age groups.
* Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and administer vaccinations and immunisations.
* Perform mental health assessments and coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists or support services.
* Prescribe medications and develop personalised treatment plans based on patient needs.
* Monitor ongoing health conditions and provide preventive healthcare advice and education.
* Refer patients to hospitals specialists or allied health professionals when necessary.
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards.
* Build and maintain strong patient relationships ensuring continuity of high-quality compassionate care.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Medical Science (Undergraduate)
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) (Postgraduate)
* Australian Registration and RACGP Membership (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners)
* Holds one or more of the following qualifications : MRCGP (UK) MICGP (Ireland) FRNZCGP (New Zealand)
* Eligible to apply for Ahpra registration
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a General Practitioner
* Experience in the UK Ireland or New Zealand will be highly regarded
* Open to qualified and experienced GPs who may require supervised practice (612 months)
