Logistics Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an overall logistics strategy that enables individual sites to optimize efficiency in the movement of vehicles within their catchment area.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years employment in Logistics/Transport related work with a mixture of strategic and functional experience. You will also have previous people management experience and demonstrated experience in delivering operational efficiencies, implementing logistics strategies and working with multiple stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include building and leading a central logistics team to support site operations with resources, reporting, training and advice. You will conduct regular reviews of each catchment area on a regular basis and as required to support changes to the repair network footprint. Additionally, you will implement programs that test concepts and hypothesis that will lead to improved logistical outcomes.
You will also build collaborative relationships with all Site Managers to ensure site plans are being managed and that the logistics team is providing support. A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel interstate as required are essential.

Job Requirements
* Minimum 5 years employment in Logistics/Transport related work
* Previous people management experience
* Demonstrated experience in delivering operational efficiencies, implementing logistics strategies and working with multiple stakeholders
* Solid experience and understanding of logistics reporting, exception reporting logistics practices and solutions
* A current Australian driver's licence
