PHE currently have an opportunity for a Storeperson to join our team on a 2 and 1 roster in Orange, NSW.A Store-person is responsible for the revival, storing and issuing of materials, equipment and other items from stock.
Keep records and compile stock reports.Some duties would include:Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using a computerVerify inventory by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errorsDrive equipment safely to load and unload deliveries of materialsClean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulationsCompile, review and maintain purchase orders, requisitions and other documentsConfer with supervisors and purchasing personnel in regard to stock procurement and availabilityABOUT YOU:Sound interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment2 Years' experience in a similar roleSound knowledge of purchasing and procurement requirementsAnalytical skills in problem-solvingSpeak clearly in positive and negative situationsAble to read and interpret written informationThe successful candidate will have:General Construction White CardManual C –Class Drivers licenceCertificate III or higher in Logistics and WarehousingRelevant High Risk Work Licence (LF)Telehandler gold cardA minimum 2 years' experience in a similar rolePlease note all your tickets and licenses MUST be current to commence on-site and be employed by PHE.PHE has 50 years' history providing safe, rewarding, long-term employment in regional and remote areas.
