About the Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 9-25 as they navigate life with a disability through to early adulthood. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.
Responsibilities
Work in the social model, delivering services in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
Utilise evidence-based measurement tools and assessment skills to create therapy plans and provide occupational therapy that supports participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary youth team, wrapping the right supports around participants to empower greater outcomes.
Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
General AHPRA Registration.
A positive and flexible approach to work.
Strong communication skills and a team player.
Commitment to personal and professional development.
Valid driver's license.
NDIS Workers Screening Check.
Working with Children Check.
Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
