We're growing in Toowoomba, bringing together a passionate team in Children, Youth and Family Services who provide care, guidance, and support to help young people build confidence, independence, and connection.
As a valued member of our Kanda team, you will:
Provide hands-on care and guidance to young people in a safe and supportive home environment where young people can grow, learn and thrive.
Help create and follow individual care plans tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.
Support young people with daily living activities and support their understanding of self-care, education and recreational activities.
Build trusting relationships by offering encouragement, stability, safety and emotional support.
Keeping accurate and professional records and documentation.
What You'll Love About Working with Kanda
Comprehensive training and ongoing development, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and The Sanctuary Model.
Bring flexibility to your week by working a mix ofday, evening and sleepover shifts(6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, and 10:00pm – 6:00am).
Shift times may vary, providing variety and work-life balance.
Wellbeing support through the Sonder app, free 24/7 confidential support and resources.

To join our team, you'll need:
A current driver's licence (Minimum of a P2)
A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain these).
Have completed, or are willing to enrol in, aCertificate IV, Diploma or bachelor's degreein a relevant field.
Experience with young people or in related areas(disability, mental health, aged care, childcare) ispreferred, but not requiredwe welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
