Kirinari Community Services offers a role for experienced Disability Support Workers in Bathurst NSW. The position supports customers in their daily living within our supported independent living (SIL/Group Homes) and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to meet customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance and facilitating positive community connections. Work across a 24/7 environment, including overnight and weekend hours, with generous penalties for shortage of availability.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
* Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
* Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
* Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
* Smart Phone
* Current Driver's Licence
