This company is a prominent civil earthmoving contractor based in Western Australia’s north-west, primarily servicing mining clients. They have successfully delivered numerous minesite and civil infrastructure projects for blue-chip clients and recently secured a new minesite bulk earthworks contract in the Pilbara, requiring a SITE ENGINEER (Civil) on a contract basis for at least 4 months.
About The Role
As SITE ENGINEER, you will work FIFO 2/1 ex-Perth at a large existing mine site undergoing expansion, supporting the project team with bulk earthworks. Your responsibilities include providing technical input, managing sub-contractors, cost tracking, progress monitoring, QA, and reporting. The role offers a competitive day rate of up to $825/Day + Super.
Skills, Qualifications And Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- 2-3 years’ minesite/civil construction experience as SITE ENGINEER or PROJECT ENGINEER in Australia
- Proven experience in earthworks projects for minesite, civil infrastructure, or industrial developments
- Previous FIFO experience and ability to work FIFO 2/1
- Stable work history with two references
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, and eagerness to learn
- Based in Perth/WA with existing rights to work in Australia
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
