About the Role:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be able to shape the way the world sees our business. Your role will be to bring your marketing technical skills and industry experience to build and execute our marketing strategy. Your excellent marketing and communication skills, organisational skills, and drive will help drive growth for our business and the market-leading product lines we support.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and will be supported by a team of Product Specialists.
This is a Full-time position based out of our Newcastle Office.
Responsibilities:
* Develop the marketing strategy to align with the overall business strategy.
* Create copy and content for our channels: Website, Social Media, Newsletters, Conferences, and Seminars.
* Plan and execute our social media strategy.
* Manage our Website content, SEO program, and AdWords campaigns in collaboration with our marketing agency partners.
* Develop and maintain relationships with marketing peers from our supplier partners and maintain our supplier content database.
* Create articles and case studies with our supplier partners and product experts.
* Plan, promote, and coordinate industry events (conferences and seminars).
* Lead generation and qualification through our marketing channels and contact databases.
* Measure marketing performance and ROI to inform future activities.
* Drive growth in new business through marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
* Must be self-driven, capable of operating autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
* Experience in B2B marketing of highly technical products or services.
* Experience in asset-intensive industries.
* A Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualifications in marketing are highly beneficial.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and effective communication across various levels.
* Proficient in IT systems and marketing platforms.
* Experience with SalesForce CRM or similar is highly valued.
* Proven initiative and robust problem-solving skills.
* Residency in NSW with readiness for regular travel (once every six months) for industry events.
