Our client is looking for a motivated Farm Hand to join a busy horticultural and cropping research site in the Toowoomba region. In this role, you'll help with the day-to-day running of the farm, supporting research trials, looking after equipment and resources, and assisting with projects on and off site.
The role is 3–5 days per week (full-time or part-time considered), with a quick start preferred (ASAP) until 30 September 2026, with possible extension based on performance. Hourly payrate is $
Key Responsibilities:
* Help with farming tasks such as preparing the land, planting, watering, weeding, applying chemicals, harvesting, and taking care of crops.
* Operate and look after farm machinery like tractors, planters, harvesters, and spray equipment with GPS systems.
* Carry out regular maintenance on equipment and keep field trial sites and property tidy.
* Assist with research trials, following all instructions and quality standards carefully.
* Work safely and follow health and safety rules and workplace conduct guidelines.
