Job Description:
The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, providing medical and surgical interventions, developing plans of care, and ongoing evaluation.
This role requires direct patient care, counseling, and teaching in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
Responsibilities:
* Provides complete histories and physical examinations
* Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests
* Develops appropriate plans of care based on diagnostic findings
* Documents patient care effectively
* Performs bedside procedures as needed
* Orders medications according to organizational policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and relevant experience. Licenses and certifications include the Physician Assistant license.
Familiarity with quality control standards, emergency situations, and guidelines interpretation is also essential.
