LCB Contracting Pty Ltd is a locally owned civil contracting business based in Devonport, Tasmania. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our growing team.
About the Role
* Operating a tipper truck with super dog trailer
* Carting materials to and from job sites
* Working on civil construction projects
* Job is based out of our new headquarters in Devonport
* Driving the truck as a 10-yard tipper with no trailer when required
* Full-time work available for the right applicant
Essential Requirements
* Valid HC licence
* Current medical certificate can be obtained after hiring if not already held
* Proven experience driving tipper trucks and super dog trailers (this is a must)
* Minimum 1-2 years of tipper truck and super dog trailer driving experience
* Good understanding of load restraints and site safety
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Strong work ethic and a safety-first attitude
* Happy to keep the truck clean, spend time washing it, and take pride in the equipment
* Must have Australian work rights
Highly Regarded (but not essential)
* Experience operating:
* Rollers
* Excavators
* General civil construction experience
* White Card
* Mechanical sympathy
