About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, friendly leader to support our team in delivering professional advice and customer service.
You will be responsible for mentoring and inspiring your team daily, leading from the front to provide an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring the safety of the store and its occupants.
Responsibilities:
* Mentor and inspire team members daily, setting a positive example.
* Collaborate with Store Manager to develop team knowledge and skills.
* Deliver exceptional customer service.
* Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
* Assist Store Manager in managing stock levels.
* Aid in visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays.
* Stay up-to-date on pet care, products, and services we provide.
* Recruit, onboard, and induct new team members.
* Contribute to a fun, supportive culture in-store.
* Sponsor local marketing initiatives and opportunities.
Requirements:
* Previous leadership experience in retail or readiness to take on a store management role.
* Demonstrated success in driving sales.
* Strong leadership abilities to motivate and build a high-performing team culture.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and maintain resilience.
* Capacity to foster a positive safety culture.
* Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
