We have an opportunity with our Defence customer within the Terrestrual Communications (TC) Support Team for Quality Manager. In this role, you'll support contractual governance over TC providers to support the warfighter and Defence businesses. This role will suit those with experience in governance, budgeting and finance performance monitoring along with contract and procurement knowledge.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Plan, lead and manage the development, implementation and maintenance of business governance related activities for Defence
- Deliver budget support, including coordination of budget preparation, financial performance monitoring and reporting in accordance with Defence policies and procedures
- Support Directorate undertaking procurement planning, tendering and contract formation and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures
- Plan and manage the administrative, project and business support activities for the team
- Manage a variety of business, governance and reporting requirements
- Maintain systems that measure quality performance and compliance against established standards
- Engage with stakeholders across Defence's organisation to leverage appropriate governance frameworks
- Assess and evaluate administrative, business, corporate and policy initiatives, identify issues and implement appropriate procedures and work practices
- Assess and evaluate the impact of proposed changes to policies, processes and procedures on governance arrangements and outcomes
- Accountable for managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people Accountable to perform complex to very complex procedural, operational, administrative and business management activities that support the delivery of outcomes across Defence

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- Hold current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance or higher
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in governance, assurance, compliance, service enablement and performance management of managed TC service providers. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing large complex Terrestrial Communications environments.
