Silver Sands General Practice is one of the longest standing medical centres in Mandurah. Dr Jennifer Ellis is the Practice Principal and works full time with additional interest in teaching medical students and registrars.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient assessments and triage
* Administer medications, vaccinations and treatments as prescribed
* Wound care and dressings
* ECGs and ear syringing
* Assisting with and preparation of minor surgical procedures
* Educate patients on health management and preventive care
* Collaborate with GP and other healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
* Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
* Pre-employment medicals and driving medicals
* Preparation of health assessments and GP management plans
* Flexibility with additional tasks outside the scope of standard nursing duties (e.g., covering reception when required)
Qualifications and Requirements
* Rights to work in Australia
* Enrolled nurse with an active registration
* Current CPR certificate
* National Police Clearance within last 6 months
* Indemnity insurance
* Previous experience in General Practice or primary care setting
* Knowledge of chronic disease pathways
* Experience with Best Practice software highly desirable
* Living locally with reliable transport
* Flexible working hours – ideally 3 days per week casual
* Above the award wage
