Front Office Receptionist Opportunity
We are seeking a well-presented, organised and personable individual to be the first point of contact for our dental practice.
Your role is essential to ensuring a smooth, positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
You will manage front-office operations including scheduling, patient communication, phone and email enquiries, and payment processing.
This position offers ongoing support and training, with opportunities for long-term growth within the practice.
Duties include:
* Greeting patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
* Scheduling and confirming appointments
* Managing phone calls, emails, and website enquiries
* Processing payments (cash, EFTPOS, HICAPS)
* Maintaining a clean and organised reception and waiting area
* Coordinating patient flow and supporting clinicians as needed
* Providing general administrative support to the practice
The ideal candidate will:

* Demonstrate strong communication skills (written & verbal)
* Show initiative and a strong work ethic
* Be reliable, organised, and able to multitask
* Have basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, general admin skills)
* Work effectively as part of a team within established procedures
* Present professionally and maintain a positive attitude
Previous reception or administration experience—especially in healthcare—is highly desirable, but we will provide training for the right person.
Availability
* 3–5 days per week
