We're looking for a results-driven and experienced Civil Work Maintenance Coordinator to lead a multi-disciplined team in the delivery of maintenance and minor construction programs across roads, drainage and related civil assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day civil maintenance operations ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
- Lead a team of up to 7 staff, driving a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and coaching support.
- Manage budgets, schedules and resources to deliver cost-effective outcomes.
- Foster a proactive, solutions-focused culture that champions innovation and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and the community to respond to service needs and resolve issues.
- Play an active role in Noosa Council's emergency and disaster response as required.
About You
You're a confident and capable leader with:
- Proven experience in civil operations, maintenance or construction, ideally in local government or similar.
- Strong planning, scheduling and team leadership skills with a track record of delivering outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative leadership style that motivates teams and builds positive stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in civil maintenance, engineering or similar - or equivalent extensive experience.
- Current "C" class Driver's Licence.
- Construction White Card.
Desirable:
- RPEQ or NER registration.
- Asset management or maintenance planning qualifications.
