Job Description
Our organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our largest project in Queensland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance of production mining equipment and ensuring safety and efficiency across site operations.
Key responsibilities include supervising a team of mechanics and contractors, planning and executing preventative and breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Additionally, you will oversee parts inventory, procurement, and workshop processes, as well as ensure compliance with WHS and site safety requirements.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in supervising a workshop/maintenance team on a mine site. A Cert III Mobile Plant Technology Trade qualification is preferred, along with Schedule 26 (Statutory Supervisor Course) certification and a National Police Clearance.
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of mobile plant maintenance and planning, excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Proven experience supervising a workshop/maintenance team on a mine site
* Cert III Mobile Plant Technology Trade qualification (preferred)
* Schedule 26 (Statutory Supervisor Course) certification
* National Police Clearance
