Our VIC Glass Division has an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our growing team in a newly created position.
In this role, you will take ownership of machinery spare parts and glass inventories, ensuring accurate stock control, timely ordering, and efficient coordination of goods. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you can drive improvements, build processes, and make the position your own.
You'll enjoy a balance of hands‐on warehouse involvement and administrative stock control responsibilities, supporting the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.
The Role
* Manage and maintain inventory and stock control systems for machinery spare parts and glass stocks
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering and replenishment
* Maintain accurate records, including data entry, stock adjustments, and reporting
* Coordinate inwards and outwards goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Support supplier coordination and invoice processing
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimise stock control
* Work closely with the warehouse and maintenance teams to support daily operations
About You
We're looking for a reliable and proactive individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse administration
* Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and record‐keeping skills
* Experience using ERP systems / inventory management systems
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook)
* A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of stock management
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a hands‐on approach
* Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic
