The Role

We're on the lookout for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic Part 145 maintenance crew, where you'll work on a diverse fleet of high-quality, turbo-prop aircraft in a professional, forward-thinking environment. No shift work required.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is an experienced maintenance professional who is currently employed as an AME within the industry with a proven track record. We are looking to employ experienced staff who are committed, adaptable, collaborative and resilient. They will strive to work towards supporting Omni in its mission to help further our national interest in support of Australia's sovereign capability. Our ideal candidates will come from a variety of backgrounds, academic disciplines and industry sectors, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

* An AME with a proven track record of experience within a maintenance team.
* A high degree of integrity and a commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and meet objectives and targets for our clients
* High level technical writing skills
* A strong commitment to upholding Omni's values and ethical standards.

Essential Requirements

The below key requirements to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.

* Be an Australian Citizen
* Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one (NV1 minimum)
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
* Perform tasks with an emphasis on duty of care to self and other employees
* Experience in utilising online aviation technical data management and computer literate skills

In addition, for this role:

* Experience working on the following aircraft: Pilatus PC 12; Beechcraft B300; Beechcraft B1900
* Experience in Aerotrack and/or Camp aviation software
* Advanced MS Office skills
