The Royal Hobart Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for Tasmania, with around 2000 births each year. This presents a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing care as delegated by the Midwife, and within the direction and supervision of the midwife in accordance with the midwifery care plan.
* Working across antenatal and postnatal ward including the pregnancy assessment space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery student who has successfully completed all first year course requirements including clinical practice placements.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
