The Project Manager Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of plasterboard fitout and cladding projects from start to finish.
This includes managing budgets, schedules, and quality standards, as well as coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes.
* Review contracts, scope of works, and drawings to ensure alignment with agreed terms
* Manage project timelines, compliance requirements, and quality standards
* Identify and manage variations throughout the project lifecycle
* Coordinate with site teams to ensure works meet specifications and quality standards
* Oversee procurement, material orders, and supplier deliveries
* Review and approve subcontractor claims and supplier invoices
* Maintain project documentation including RFIs, site instructions, and change orders
* Conduct site visits and attend toolbox talks as required
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry (fitout/cladding experience preferred)
Strong understanding of contract administration and cost control
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
