**About the role**
Baptistcare George Forbes House is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the Lifestyle and Activities calendar and lifestyle care planning. The role involves developing, implementing and monitoring a Lifestyle program that optimizes the quality of life for our residents.
You will coordinate and manage events and group activities and lifestyle resources, build and develop volunteers, train and support staff in activities to ensure provision of optimum level of person-centered service to all clients.
This position is **permanent full time** working days Monday to Friday
Skills and experience:
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Health (or related) **Essential**:
- Current unrestricted driver's license
- Previous experience working in an aged care setting (Essential)
- Proven experience developing and coordinating lifestyle plans particularly for residents living with dementia
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and related outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy
