About the Role:
* All reported incidents, problems and requests are monitored, and quality checked to ensure they are accurately recorded, tracked, updated and closed off and that clients are regularly kept informed on their status and progress. This includes reviewing access requirements and software licencing, evaluation and testing.
* Complex problems are managed and resolved when escalated from the level one service desk. Training and development of level one service desk staff is supported to deliver a quality and responsive service to customers.
* Creation of articles and the updating of a collaborative team knowledge base to assist with incident, problem resolution and root cause analysis that will enable the formulation of policies, standards and procedures.
* Creation training materials and documentation for new software, hardware and systems to be provided to DEW clients as well as delivery of training sessions.
* Systems and application software is installed and fine-tuned to ensure subsequent high performance of operation.
* Clients are provided with a high-level of customer service, which is proactive, cooperative and dependable and based on user needs. Improvement projects within ICT Service Management such as processes, technical implementations or replacement programs are undertaken or contributed to as a part of a larger team.

Contract: Temporary Contract up to 30 June 2026
Special Conditions:
* May be required to participate in responses to state emergencies or associated duties.
* You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows you to work in Australia without restrictions.
* Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Police Check.
* A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
* Inter and intrastate and remote area travel is required, including travel in light aircraft.
* May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel, occasional overnight absences, and work outside of the normal hours of work.
Remuneration: ASO4 ($76,561 min - $80,256 max) p.a.
