What you'll do:
* Assist in end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain and enhance HRIS data and systems
* Generate reports and provide technical support for HR and employees
* Ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies
* Collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams to streamline processes
* Contribute to process improvements and train users on system functionalities
* Provide education and support to employees regarding payroll systems and tools
* Learn from experienced leaders and be part of succession planning
What you'll bring:
* Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel (iChris experience highly desirable)
* Familiarity with HRIS platforms and data management
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
* Adaptability and a proactive mindset
* Australian work rights are required for this position
Qualifications:
* At least 3 years' experience in a payroll environment (early-career candidates with strong tech and Excel skills are encouraged to apply)
* Knowledge and understanding of the community services sector is greatly valued
* Sound understanding of payroll and financial principles
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
* Current National Police Clearance (no more than 6 months)
