A bit about the role

Join our dynamic team and make a real impact! You’ll work across a variety of Maternal and Child Health Centres, providing cover for planned leave while gaining hands-on experience in diverse settings. Enjoy the flexibility to be based at different locations and benefit from ongoing support from a dedicated Leadership and Education Team.

What you’ll deliver

- Evidence-informed practice and high-quality, safe and inclusive Maternal and Child Health Services
- Assess, monitor and promote the health, growth, development and behaviour of young children
- Counselling and support in a non-judgmental safe setting for individuals and families, on a wide variety of parenting and family related issues.
- Health education and information about relevant community resources and services
- Assist and support clients to link into other services and resources where the need is identified.

What you’ll bring

- A positive, collaborative approach to delivering best practise Maternal and Child Health services
- A drive to learn and support families with the latest information that supports best outcomes
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Child & Family Health as recognised in Victoria to practice in Maternal and Child Health
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Division 1 Nurse and Midwife
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including Criminal History, Working with Children, Victorian Driver’s License, Functional Assessment
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
