About The Role
To identify, develop and execute cost‐containment and cost‐reduction programmes to ensure maximum return. Facilitate alignment of WWG Global Sourcing regions and cost‐effective industrial fabric supplier base. Deliver on Strategic, Collaborative and Transactional Sourcing projects in line with the WWG Sourcing Strategy. Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers. Think broadly for the company, build comprehensive commercial solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Proactively drive cost negotiations to deliver brand margin requirements.
* Align supplier base to product category requirements for Australia and NZ.
* Ensure product compliance with OH&S, Environmental, Quality, and Legal obligations.
* Provide accurate costings and support in operation execution for special projects to win new business and maintain contracts.
* Continuously review costs for each product category and align with margin expectations.
* Identify, develop and execute cost‐containment and cost‐reduction programs for maximum return.
* Maximise fabric consolidation by quality and supplier to leverage volumes for cost savings.
* Project Management.
* Align global sourcing regions to deliver optimal solutions in cost, quality, and delivery.
* Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure suppliers meet ethical and social compliance standards.
* Managing business escalations with suppliers.

What We're Looking For
* Strong understanding of Apparel/Shoes production, technical service within the Clothing Apparel Industry.
* 10+ years' experience in global sourcing.
* Strong negotiation, delegation and decision‐making skills.
* Ability to develop and implement strategies.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to travel to international manufacturing regions and identify factories.
* Relevant tertiary qualification (Apparel Manufacturing or Merchandising).
* Familiarity with Project Management skills.
* Able to work well with tight deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
