We’re seeking a skilled Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing team at Cape Preston. This role is critical to the effective long-term planning and scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on our Heavy Mobile Equipment fleets. Reporting to the Heavy Mobile Equipment Planning Supervisor, you’ll be an integral part of a team ensuring the reliability and readiness of our fleet through meticulous preparation and coordination of shutdowns, rebuilds, and component change-outs. Key responsibilities Develop, schedule, and manage planned maintenance activities (preventative and corrective) Lead the planning and logistical coordination for machine rebuilds and shutdowns Create Gantt charts to outline shutdown timelines and resource allocations Maintain and forecast the preventative maintenance schedule Source specialist contract labour and define shutdown labour requirements Facilitate pre-shutdown meetings and ensure shut readiness is achieved Manage CMMS work orders and track progress to completion Engage and coordinate with internal teams and external contractors About you To be successful in this role, you'll have: Proven background in maintenance planning, with strong knowledge of planning systems and procedures Trade qualification with experience in a relevant trade or technical discipline Proficiency in SAP and MS Project (Intermediate to Advanced) Hands-on experience with CMMS systems and project planning tools Competent in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment A manual Driver’s Licence (essential) Benefits As an employee of CPM, we offer a range of benefits including leave benefits, personal and family benefits, education and training, salary sacrifice options, and lifestyle benefits through preferred suppliers.
