About The Team
Within our Queensland Property and Projects practice we have a team, led by Partners Ron Eames and Grace Wimberley who work with our clients across a range of capital transactions, energy transition projects, waste to hydrogen projects, carbon sequestration projects and finance transactions (project, corporate and property). The team works with international and domestic clients including renewable energy developers, carbon service providers, listed REITs, large commercial property owners, property developers and hotel and resort owners.
About The Role
We are looking for a lawyer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team offering genuine career prospects.
Examples of the work undertaken by the team include:
* Acquisitions and disposals of real estate (commercial, industrial and retail)
* Hotel and resort transactions
* Land acquisitions and other tenure arrangements for energy transition/renewable energy projects including wind, solar & battery and waste to hydrogen projects
* Service, security and co-operation agreements for carbon sequestration projects
* Titling for residential and commercial developments including complex body corporate developments
* Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements for significant capital and corporate M&A transactions, including those involving renewable energy projects
* Environmental offset arrangements
* Infrastructure agreements
* Regulatory approvals
* Project structuring and corporate establishments
* Project financing
* Foreign investment approval advice and applications
Whilst a Brisbane based role you can expect to be involved in transactions across Australia.

About You
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of post-admission experience in some, if not all, of the following:
* Experience across a range of commercial property transactions including exposure to renewable energy matters
* Experience in corporate financing and personal property security transactions
* Strong drafting and research skills
* Excellent commercial acumen
* Exposure to running files alongside senior lawyers as well as autonomously
* Keen interest in mentoring and training junior team members
* You must be comfortable working closely with clients
* An eagerness to get involved with industry events and business development opportunities
* Capable of managing multiple matters and prioritising effectively
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
