Team Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to drive the implementation of our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2023-2026.
This role will oversee the development and execution of work programs that align with our strategic objectives, and lead a team in their professional and personal growth.
* Develop and implement work programs in line with our strategic priorities;
* Lead a team and support their career advancement and well-being;
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders;
* Develop effective communication strategies to meet our DEI targets;
* Contribute to policy and strategy development;
* Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and analysis as required;
* Promote projects and activities within the team;
* Represent the unit as needed;
* Build subject matter expertise and share knowledge with others.
Key Requirements
* Australian citizenship;
* Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one;
* Cultural competency when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
* Experience participating in or working on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander focused initiatives;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Effective communication skills with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people;
* Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
* Demonstrated leadership abilities;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
* Able to develop and foster stakeholder relationships.
