Project Manager – Infrastructure (Contract) Location: Strathpine, QLDRate: $59–$63 per hour + SuperContract: 6 months (view to extend)Start: ASAP
We are currently partnering with a large government organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a high-volume infrastructure and asset delivery program.
This role will suit a senior, technically strong Project Manager who can confidently manage complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects from planning through to delivery within a compliance-driven environment.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, including:
* Bridges, sporting facilities, roads, stormwater and community buildings
* Managing contracts and consultants across procurement, construction, defects and maintenance phases
* Driving approvals processes and resolving complex construction issues
* Providing specialist engineering advice and ensuring compliance with legislation, Australian Standards and WH&S requirements
* Managing budgets and assessing progressive payment claims
* Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
To be successful, you will bring:
* Proven experience delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects
* Strong applied engineering knowledge with the ability to clearly present technical solutions
* Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills
* Confidence working in a structured, governance-focused environment
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management (or similar)
* Current White Card
* Current C-Class Driver's Licence
