Business Development Manager – Land Domain (Defence)

Your Key Responsibilities Include

* Identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities for Leidos
* Execute the Company's business capture management processes
* Coordinate customer relationships critical to new business development including partnership development
* Establish and maintain enduring, inclusive relationships and communication with key Defence stakeholders such as Service Headquarters, Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group, Defence Digital Group, Joint Capabilities Group, etc. at appropriate levels to qualify and grow the Defence business
* Contribute to Request for Tender responses
* Provide input into current and long‐range business strategies to enhance the Company's position in Australia

What You'll Bring To Make An Impact

* Confident communicator, both orally and in written form, to individuals as well as large groups
* Proven ability to create and maintain internal and external professional networks
* Skilled in managing and assimilating information for a varied audience in many different formats
* Ability to learn, collaborate, and network with senior stakeholders and enjoy engaging with people
* Understanding of Defence/Military Operations
* Understanding of Service Headquarters, the Defence Capability Acquisition process and relevant acquisition agencies
* A strong network within Defence (including Army) is essential

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to hold or be willing to obtain an NV‐1 security clearance.
