As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:
Household tasks: domestic assistance, cleaning and laundry, and meal prep
Transport - transport to appointments, shopping and community access
Social & Community participation: supporting individuals to engage with their community, build social connections, and participate in activities such as going for walks, attending events, or enjoying recreational outings
Applicants will require:
Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical/spinal disability
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support; Disability, Aged care or similar
Current NDIS Worker Screening Card and Blue card
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
Medication Certificates/experience will be favourable
Valid Driver's License
Covid and Flu vaccinations are required
Good availability is essential
Candidates with High Care experience will be viewed favourably.
