This casual pool offers flexible opportunities across a diverse range of clinical settings to deliver high-quality, patient-focused psychological care.
Responsibilities
Provide psychological services across NBMLHD tailored to your experience and qualifications.
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including risk assessments for a variety of behavioural and emotional disorders.
Utilise psychometric measures and assessment tools to support formulation, intervention, and evaluation.
Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals, families, and groups; contribute to case management.
Collaborate with other health professionals and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated care.
What You Will Bring To The Role
Candidates appointed to the classification aligned to their qualifications and AHPRA registration:
a) Psychologist: Psychologist registered with AHPRA.
b) Clinical Psychologist; Forensic Psychologist; Clinical Neuropsychologist: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in a relevant area of endorsement; General Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA; Current endorsement or working towards endorsement aligned with post-graduate qualification.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams including multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for psychological disorders.
Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
Demonstrated experience in providing individual or group intervention.
Engagement in ongoing professional development and commitment to clinical supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including computer literacy.
