We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Afternoon Bus Driver / Grounds Person to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who values safety, is dependable, and takes pride in maintaining vehicles and outdoor spaces.
* Monday to Friday (5 days per week during school term)
* Afternoon shifts 2:00pm -4:00pm (school pickup transport and grounds duties)
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport children from local schools to our OSHC service on our coaster bus
* Ensure all transport is conducted in line with road safety regulations and organisational procedures
* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs
* Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus
* Assist with general grounds maintenance, including outdoor areas and equipment
* Support the overall presentation and safety of the service environment
* Current LR (Light Rigid) Driver's Licence
* Working With Children Check
* Participation in National Child Protection training (on employment)
* Strong understanding of road safety and safe transport practices
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Previous professional bus driving experience
* Basic maintenance or handyman skills
