About the Role
As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food products in line with our standards. You will assist in preparation of ingredients, follow recipes, and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparation of ingredients
* Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events
* Maintain the assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times
* Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs
A successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 1 year's work experience
* Experience in luxury international brands (highly regarded)
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
* A true desire to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a fast-paced customer service environment
