The Business Intelligence Solutions team within Performance Monitoring and Reporting is seeking a Principal Business Solutions Developer who is a multiskilled professional with proven experience in SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio. The role involves contributing to the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of data warehouse and reporting products.
This position will develop fit-for-purpose data models to deliver insights directly to users and plays a key role in supporting the department's expansion of business intelligence solutions.

About The Role
Desirable skills and experience include:
* Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, data modelling, and ETL design.
* Strong analytical skills, especially in analyzing data and transforming it into relational tables.
* Experience with the Microsoft development stack, including SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, PowerBI, or SSAS, and DAX query language.
Responsibilities
The Principal Business Solutions Developer will undertake:
* Designing and developing data models based on data warehouse and ETL principles.
* Implementing Quality Assurance checks to ensure data quality, integrity, and lineage.
* Conducting performance analysis and optimizing code.
* Unit and system testing of all development work.
