We're a group of fabulous Hotels and Venues set in beautiful countryside, with hotels full of great people—a great team.
We are actively seeking a Commis Chef to help prepare and cook delicious food for our guests.
We work with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and our guests often comment that our food is truly delicious (no microwave in sight).
Our Chefs also participate in pop-up restaurants, food festivals, competitions, and networking events with colleges.

Main Responsibilities
Lots to do but lots of fun
The Banqueting Commis Chef will be responsible for:
Assist in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of kitchen operations during food services and functions.
Understand and adhere to specified food margins, working closely with the Chef de Partie.
Comply with all relevant laws and legislation regarding food handling, storage, hygiene, and health and safety.
Assist with food preparations delegated by senior chefs.
Follow all recipe guidelines and standards set by senior chefs.
Contribute to the development of innovative menu designs for functions and food services.
Assist the Head Chef in monitoring and controlling the quality of ingredients used.
Be flexible and accommodating to the catering requirements of hotel guests.
Keep the Head Chef informed of guest and staff feedback.
