We are looking for both full time, and casual roles across the morning (2am start) and afternoon shifts.
Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified bakers who take pride in their craft and are eager to contribute to our bakery's success. As a baker at Big Loaf factory, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mix and bake a wide range of artisan and specialty breads, using old style traditional methods (Experience with sourdough a must).
* Follow recipes and production procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
* Collaborate with the team to innovate and develop new recipes and menu items.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
* Baker Qualification and/or experience
* Solid understanding of baking techniques and ingredients.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Available for early morning shifts - 2am.
