Electronics Engineer Role Overview

* Develop and debug FPGA and embedded microcontroller modules to ensure seamless system integration.
* Participate in commissioning and testing of products to guarantee optimal performance.
* Develop test plans and support testing for developmental and production products to ensure quality and reliability.
* Create technical documents for product development, including commissioning/qualification reports, technical drawings/schematics, instructions, and manuals.
* Support sales efforts by collaborating with customers, preparing tender documents, and attending internal events.

* Preferred: Masters in Electronics/Mechatronics/Embedded System or similar engineering discipline.

* 5+ years experience in a relevant product development role with strong knowledge of designing to EMI/EMC requirements and testing especially relating to MIL-STD-461 & MIL-STD-810.
* Experience in implementing communications based on SPI/RS422/RS485/CANbus/Ethernet and modelling using MATLAB/Simulink/Python etc.

* Strong understanding of motion control and control theory implementation.
* Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis.
* Strong writing skills for technical documentation and reports.
* Proficiency in VHDL and Model Sim.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, key stakeholders, and peers.

* Ability to travel internationally in support of development efforts.
* Must be an Australian Citizen and can obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
* Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification, including employment reference checks.
* Must be able to access information controlled under ITAR which in some circumstances can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency, or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
